Christmas at the Bowring coming up this weekend

Christmas at the Bowring will be held this weekend! It will happen on Saturday, December 8th beginning at 6pm mountain time. This is by reservation only. Tickets are $25 and they are available now through November 30th. They will have door prizes, and the Twin River Band will be performing. Monday reminders

A free soup and sandwich supper will be served from 5-7pm tonight at the Burke Civic Center. Stop out and enjoy homemade soup and sandwiches! The event is sponsored by the Burke Community Club. Register at the door for some gift certificates too! The Rosebud/Winner Ducks Unlimited Banquet will be held at West River Tap in Winner this evening! Doors will open at 5:30pm, dinner will be served at 7 and auction and raffles will follow.

All-School Play coming up in Winner

There will be an All-School Play coming to the Winner Community Playhouse on December 6th, 7th and the 8th! The play is titled “It’s A Wonderful Life”. There will be performances each of the three nights, with curtain time slated for 8pm. Be listening to KWYR News in the coming days for further details on this exciting play!

Checkout the Nutcracker in Winner!

We encourage everyone to come and checkout the Nutcracker in Winner, located on the east side of the former Nelson Electronics Building. They have many unique items like: wine racks, wall decor, Christmas items, barnwood wall decor and shelving, different types of wood decor, small Christmas trees, backlit cross, reindeer, special crossed made of wood, memory box, toys for the kids and flowerpot holders. The Nutcracker will be open 12-6 Monday through Saturday, and from 10-2 on Saturday through Christmas.

Winner Regional Holiday Festival ready to go for Saturday

The Winner Regional Foundation will hold their 2018 Holiday Festival this Saturday, December 1st at St. Mary’s Hall in Winner. The festival will begin at 5pm with a wine and beer social, dinner will be served at 6:30 pm followed by the live and silent auctions. Tickets are just $50 and can be purchased in advance at Marty’s or at Winner Regional Healthcare Center. Providing the entertainment will be the Tami Hall Band. Proceeds will benefit the Winner Regional Healthcare Center.

Blood Drive to happen in Mission this week

Todd County High School will be hosting a public blood drive at the high school in Mission this week. The drive will be held on Tuesday, November 27th from 9am to 1:15pm tomorrow.
