The Kimball/White Lake Wildkats will battle the Garretson Blue Dragons tomorrow night in the Semi-Final round of the 9AA Football playoffs. Kickoff is slated for 7pm in Garretson. The Blue Dragons are a perfect 10-0 on the season as they have defeated Hamlin (24-20) and then Webster Area in the quarterfinal round, 44-29. Dale Taylor’s Wildkats (7-3) have played tremendous football in the postseason as they have allowed a grand total of six points in two rounds in. Kimball/White Lake scored a 48-6 win over Jones County/White River in the opening round before they shutout Arlington/Lake Preston on the road, 29-0 last Friday.

The North Central Knight Football team will battle Nebraska Christian today at 4:30pm in the second round of the playoffs. Ryan Richey’s Knights are 6-3 on the season and are coming off a 60-26 win over Neligh/Oakdale last week. Jake Heerten has led the Knight offense as he has thrown for over 1,000 yards on the season. Charlie Gale has been the lead back for the Knights as he has rushed for 534 yards on the year. Nebraska Christian is a perfect 9-0 on the season and are averaging 340 yards per game on the ground. Jake Twogood leads Nebraska Christian in rushing as he has ran for 1,308 yards and has 24 touchdowns. Good luck to the Knights on the road today!
