The Region 4A Girls Cross Country Meet was won by the Chamberlain girls yesterday on their home course! Ella Byers of Chamberlain won the race in a time of 18:23. Winner Area’s Sida Schuyler was runner up. The Chamberlain girls won the team title while Winner Area finished second. In the boys race, Caden Tegethoff of Platte/Geddes was victorious in a time of 17:02. Winner Area’s Kade Watson finished second overall. Platte/Geddes won the boys region title while Todd County was second. At the Region 3B Meet in Freeman, Thaniel Schroeder of Freeman Academy/Marion finished in first place. Freeman/Academy Marion won the boys team title. On the girls side, the Kimball/White Lake girls won the team title with 16 points. The girls race was won by Isabella Brouwer of AC/DC. The Burke girls qualified their team for state on Thursday. The Region 4B Meets were held in Gettysburg yesterday. Lyman won the boys team title as they racked up 29 points. Lyman’s Brad Lebeda finished the race in third place. On the girls side, Ipswich won the girls team title.
