Big Red and Jackrabbit Football on KWYR airwaves this weekend

College Football will come your way on Country 1260 and Magic 93 this Saturday! On Magic 93, Montana State will battle South Dakota State in Brookings at 6pm. Doski’s prelude to the pregame will kickoff our coverage at 5:30. On Country 1260, Colorado heads to Lincoln to battle the Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Scott Frost Pre-Game Show will kickoff our coverage at 1:45 as kickoff is slated for 2:30pm.

Golf from Tuesday

The Madison Golf Invitational was held on Tuesday. Tea Area’s Brock Murphy finished first overall as he shot a 71. Roncalli’s Lucas Schaefbauer was runner up with a 77. Chamberlain’s to golfer was Cameron Caldwell as he shot an 85. Tea Area won the team title with a 339 score while Sisseton was runner up.

League Bowling to start Sunday in Chamberlain

League Bowling at the Bowling Dome will get underway this weekend in Chamberlain! Sunday, Youth League bowling will start at 6pm. Monday, September 10th will be the start of the Women’s Star League at 5pm. Next Tuesday, September 11th is the start date for the Women’s Missouri River League at 7pm. Wednesday, September 12th is when the Men’s National League starts at 7pm. Thursday, September 13th is the start date for the Men’s American League while the Friday Mixed League will start on September 14th at 7:30pm.

Coverage from Corsica this week

This Friday, we will have coverage of one high school football game as Chris Doski will be in Corsica. The Corsica/Stickney Jaguars will look to bounce back as they take on the Burke Cougars. Both teams fell last week- Alcester-Hudson beat the Jaguars while the Colome Cowboys defeated Burke. Pre-game on Magic 93 from Corsica for Friday will start at around 6:30.

In Boys Golf yesterday, Cameron Caldwell shot a 76 to win the Chamberlain Invite. Chamberlain’s Drayton Priebe finished runner up to Cameron as Priebe shot a 77. Todd County’s Bryce Hammer was fourth with an 81. Gage Watson finished tenth as he shot a 91. Mobridge-Pollock won the team title and Chamberlain finished second.
