Trinity Lutheran Church in Chamberlain will hold Vacation Bible School next week. It will take place July 25th through the 27th from 1-4pm each day. You don’t have to be a member of the church to attend. The theme is learn s’more about Jesus.

Picnic at Burke City Park this evening
Busy Bees Daycare will hold a Picnic at the Burke City Park this evening from 5:30-7pm. They will provide a fundraising meal at the event. They will be grilling up meat and have some salads and desserts as well. Come out and support the daycare!
Lyman and Chad Johnson recognized at JAG Seminar
Congrats to Lyman High School and Teacher Chad Johnson, as they were recognized last week at the JAG National Training Seminar in Louisville, Kentucky! The JAG 6 of 6 National Award was given to Lyman as it acknowledges the highest achieving states, regions and programs that exceed national performance metrics for graduation, employment rate, full-time employment, total full-time positive outcomes among other things. Chad Johnson of Lyman was one of 96 educators who was recognized as an outstanding JAG Specialist!
Tom Buckmiller to perform at the Black Lab
The Black Lab in Winner will host Tom Buckmiller and the Buckmiller Schwager Band on their patio stage for two nights on Friday July 21st and Saturday July 22nd. Performances will be from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. both nights. Happy hour specials will be available starting at 4:00 p.m. each day.
SDRA Rodeo to get underway in Geddes tonight
The 7th annual SDRA Rodeo will get underway tonight in Geddes! Performances will be at 7pm tonight and tomorrow. Tickets are $15 per person, and ages ten and under are free. Jesse Larson will be the rodeo clown. Stock contractors are Squeek and Maureen Hollenbeck. There will be a cowboy church service at 8am Sunday morning followed by a free will donation breakfast. Slack will start at 9am Sunday morning.

Crazy Days in Winner tomorrow
Crazy Days in Winner will take place on Friday, July 14th. There will be several participating chamber member businesses with in-store specials throughout the day. There will also be a side walk art contest from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Customers can also register at each participating business for a chance to win door prizes.

Emry Kaiser to perform in Presho tomorrow
Winner’s Emry Kaiser will perform at the Presho City Park on Thursday, July 13th. The concert will start at 7:00 p.m. Root beer floats will be served by the Presho Thrift Store. The event is being sponsored by the Presho Area Chamber.
