The Platte-Geddes High School Blood Drive will be held on Wednesday, March 29th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Platte Community Center.  For more information or to register on can visit liveservebloodcenter.org.

There will be a White River Community Blood Drive taking place on Tuesday, March 28th.  This will be located at the Sacred Heart and go from 12:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  With any questions or to register one can go to liveservebloodcenter.org.

The 40^th Annual Presho St. Patrick’s day celebration will take place Saturday, March 18^th. Registration for the shamrock shuffle takes place from 10:00 a.m.  to 12:00 p.m. at Jet Lanes.  The parade will get kicked off at 2:00on main street.  (parade line up at 145 pm near the Methodist church. There will be Irish food and drinks specials throughout the town.

The A-Mayes-Ing Bar and Grill in Winner, S.D. is now offering a soup and salad bar.  This will be offered Tuesdays through Fridays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  The cost is $10.00 per person for all you can eat.

There will be two blood drives taking place in Winner, S.D. on Wednesday March 22nd and Thursday, March 23rd.   It will take place that Wednesday from 10:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and that Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at 325. The Gregory Volunteer Fire Department will host their annual St. Patrick’s Day Dance on Saturday, March 11th at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium.  Doors will open at 8:00 p.m. and music will start at 9:00 p.m. and go until 1:00 p.m.  This year’s band will be Weston Frank Live.

The Gregory Dallas Chamber of Commerce will host a murder mystery party at the Gregory Legion on this Friday, March 3rd starting at 7:00 p.m.  They will be serving spaghetti and other dishes.  Cost of admission is $20.00.

There will be a community get together to spend time with Kenny Thompson at the Pheasant Bar in Winner on Saturday, March 4th beginning at 5:00 p.m.  Food will be provided by El Tapatio in Winner.

There will be a Winner FFA Community Meal and Dance this evening at the Old Middle School Gym in Winner.  The meal will start at 6:00 p.m. with the dance following at 7:00 p.m.  Proceeds will go to support the Winner FFA Chapter.
