Littau Land and Cattle of Carter, S.D. has postponed their annual on-line  private treaty bull sale for this Saturday and re-scheduled the sale for Saturday, March 4th.  For more details one can go to littaulandcattle.com.

The Lariat Loppers will hold a fundraiser bake sale this Friday at Runnings in Winner from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  They will be using their proceeds from the bake sale to benefit the Colome Park.  Please note supplies might not last so come early.

Today’s Bar JZ Ranches Annual Bull Sale has been postponed due to impending weather to Monday, February 27th.  It will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Bar JZ South Ranch located 9 miles north of Hollabird, South Dakota.

Due to the pending weather, the annual Forgey Angus Ranch Production Sale scheduled for this Wednesday, February 22nd has been rescheduled to Wednesday, April 5th.  For more details one can go to www.forgeyangus.com.

The Winner Area Chamber of Commerce will host their first Business After Hours gathering  Thursday next week at the Homesteader in Winner, S.D. from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  There will be snacks, door prizes and chamber members’ first drink will be paid for by the Chamber.

The 3rd Annual Burger Battle in the Chamberlain Oacoma area  has officially kicked off and will run through March 15th.  The contenders this year are The Smoking Mule, Al’s Oasis, Main St. Café,  The Reli Bar, The Silver Dollar Bar, and the Arrowood Resort.

The Wood Volunteer Fire Department will hold a fundraiser at the Wood Community Hall this Saturday night starting at 6:00 p.m.  They’ll be serving roast beef, pork loin, salad and dessert.  There will also be a gun raffle and beef raffle as well.  This is a free will offering to help support the fire department.

The Todd County High School Junior Class will hold their prom fundraiser  this Saturday, February 18th at Ben Reifel Auditorium in Mission from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  In the morning they will be selling biscuits and gravy and in the afternoon they’ll sell Indian tacos.  With any questions one can call Amanda Bordeaux at 605-856-3503.

Winner School District 59-2 will hold their monthly school board meeting tonight at 7:00 p.m. in Winner High School room 105.  Please note that Winner School Board meetings take place on the second Monday of every month.

• The Gregory County FFA will be having their main fundraiser on Sunday, February 19th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Gregory Community Room.  They are serving hot roast beef sandwiches, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, desert and a drink for $12.00.
