There will be a haunted house in Fairfax this Friday and Saturday at Fairfax Hall located on Main Street in Fairfax. Friday night the haunted house will be open from 7pm to 9pm for an adult oriented “Full Spook” for $10 a person. There will be a “Kid Friendly” version from 3pm to 5pm on Saturday and another “Full Spook” for adults Saturday night from 7pm to 11pm.

Valentine Main Street Project Update
Paulsen Construction will continue concrete placement for driveways and intersections on Main Street for the area of HWY 20 to A Street.
The intersection of 4th & Main will soon be open to local traffic pending strength and maturity of placed concrete. This temporary surfacing is for travel throughout the winter months until work can continue for the IN VALENTINE project. Next spring work will continue at the intersection of 4th & Main street.
Barnes construction continues construction of various project items.
IES will place conduit and footings for Street Lights and Traffic Signals. The last footing for the Traffic Signals will be placed and most conduit for street lights will be in place this week.

Winner Regional Health will host their Trick or Treat event on Sunday, October 30th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Children will have the opportunity to trick or treat with residents at the Long Term Care Healing Garden.

Burke Livestock to Host Free Will Donation Feed Tomorrow
The Burke Livestock Auction will hold a free will donation mountain oyster feed for Joey Koupal and family tomorrow at the Burke Golf Course. Serviing will start at 5:00pm. Sloppy Joes will also be served for individuals that don’t prefer mountain oysters.
Hunter’s Breakfast in Colome Saturday
The Colome After Prom Committee will host a Hunter’s Breakfast this Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Colome American Legion. It will be a free will donation with proceeds benefit the Colome after prom party.
Two-Vehicle Minor Accident Southwest of Dallas this Afternoon
KWYR News has confirmed with Tripp County Sheriff , Shawn Pettit, that earlier this afternoon there was a minor two-vehicle accident just south west of Dallas, S.D. Nobody involved was transported for any major injuries.
Gregory School Board Meeting Tomorrow Evening
The Gregory School Board will hold their regular meeting at 5:00 p.m. at Gregory High School. Please note this meeting was delayed a week due to the holiday last Monday. The Gregory School Board typically meets on the second Monday of each month.
