The Haunted Trail is back in Platte this month.  The dates are October 15^th, 22^nd, 28^th, and 29^th from 7:30pm to 11:30pm each evening. Directions for the trail are as follow: Head 2 miles west of the 4 way stop in Platte, 1 mile north on 365^th avenue and then a half mile west. The cost is $15 per person.

Harvest Fest will take place in Gregory, S.D. on Saturday, October 15th at the Gregory City Park from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  The day will consist of a hay bale maze, live music, soup tasting contest, vendors, face painting and more.

The Chamberlain School District will hold their school board meeting this Tuesday  evening at 7:00 p.m.  at the Lodestar Hotel Conference Room in Ft. Pierre.  Please note the Chamberlain School Board typically meets on the second and fourth Monday of each month.

It’s the final day of homecoming week for Winner and White River High Schools today.  Winner’s homecoming parade will start at 7^th Street and Country Club Road at 2:00 p.m.  White River’s parade is at 1:00 p.m. with line up at 12:30 in front of the high school.

The Rosebud Chapter of Pheasants Forever will hold their annual banquet on Friday, October 21st at the Winner Middle School Auditorium across from St. Mary’s Hall.  For tickets one can call 605-840-9995.
