“Last Summer Night” will take place on Main Street in Gregory, South Dakota this evening at 5:30p.m. There will be several vendors as well as many activities for kids. There will also be a beer garden for parents .

Pix Theater Schedule this Weekend
Showing this weekend at the Pix Theater in Winner, S.D. this weekend will be the Summer animated hit, “Minions: The Rise of Gru”. Show times are Friday, Saturday and Monday night at 7:30 p.m. and a 4:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday.
2022 Sturgis Rally Final Vehicle Counts
STURGIS, S.D. – Final vehicle traffic counts from the South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) for vehicles entering Sturgis for the 82nd Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally Aug. 5-14, 2022, have been tallied.
Traffic counts at nine locations entering Sturgis for the 2022 Rally are as follows:
Friday, Aug. 5: 56,855 entering
- Up 11.4% from the previous five-year average
Saturday, Aug. 6: 62,199 entering
- Up 5% from the previous five-year average
Sunday, Aug. 7: 60,672 entering
- Up 6.8% from the previous five-year average
Monday, Aug. 8: 62,050 entering
- Up 3.3% from the previous five-year average
Tuesday, Aug. 9: 58,610 entering
- Up 1.6% from the previous five-year average
Wednesday, Aug. 10: 54,599 entering
- Down 1.9% from the previous five-year average
Thursday, Aug. 11: 45,356 entering
- Down 11.7% from the previous five-year average
Friday, Aug. 12: 44,246 entering
- Down 1.3% from the previous five-year average
Saturday, Aug. 13: 37,917 entering
- Down 8.0% from the previous five-year average

Valentine Main Street Project Update
Midlands Contracting is wrapping up the Utilities portion of Main Street. This means Sanitary Sewer and Water Services are complete on the Main Street section of this project. Some of next year’s work is finished. Crews will continue placing Storm Sewer pipe and inlets as part of the highway project.
Paulsen Construction will complete placement of 9″ concrete for the intersection of 1st & Main and expect the 2nd Street intersection to be open with periodic closures for construction work. Sidewalk construction will continue for the block of 1st & Main to 2nd & Main.
IES Commercial, INC continues to place footings and conduit for Street lighting and Traffic Signals.

Winner City Meeting Tonight
The City of Winner will hold their council meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the Winner City council chambers at 325 South Monroe Street. Following the meeting will be a Town Hall meeting for residents to provide their input.
