The 4-1 Jones County/White River Wolverines will host the Wall Eagles on Homecoming night this Friday in Murdo! The Wolverines have won three in a row as they have beaten Lyman, Crazy Horse and New Underwood in consecutive weeks. Wall is one of five unbeaten teams in Class 9B. Wall is 5-0 on the season as they have defeated New Underwood, Lyman, Rapid City Christian, Hill City and Kadoka Area. The Eagles are averaging over 260 rushing yards per game this season, and are being led in that department by Cooper McConaghy as he has rushed for 402 yards this year.

Chris Doski will be back with his ‘Husker Huddle’ and ‘Sports Zone’ programs tomorrow! Chris will be joined in studio by Casey Hutmacher of Oacoma for the Sports Zone, which airs at 1:45 on Magic 93 as the guys break down each NFL game for the week. On Country 1260 at 3:45, Doski and a local Husker Football fan will have Husker Huddle come your way. The program will also air on Magic 93 tomorrow night at 7:10.

The Boys Region 3 Golf Tournament was held on Monday in Mitchell. Chamberlain’s Cameron Caldwell shot a tournament best, 70, to claim victory. Parkston’s Quinn Bormann was second as he shot an 80. Chamberlain’s Drayton Priebe shot an 82 for a third place finish. Todd County’s Bryce Hammer was seventh with an 88 while Thomas Denoyer of St. Francis was ninth. Winner Area’s Gage Watson qualified for state yesterday as he finished 13th. Parkston won the team title while Chamberlain finished second. The State ‘A’ Tournament will take place October 1st and 2nd in Dell Rapids.

Chris Doski will return with his ‘Vikings Visit’ program tomorrow on Country 1260 and Magic 93! Chris and a local Minnesota Vikings fan will discuss Minnesota’s play so far this season along with what they think will happen the rest of the season. The two will talk about Minnesota’s huge Thursday night showdown that is set to happen this week in Los Angeles against the Rams. The program will air around 3:45 tomorrow on Country 1260 and at around 7:10pm on Magic 93.

Congratulations to Jamie Keiser and the Winner Volleyball team as they went to Sissteon on Saturday and won the Easter Classic Tournament! Winner beat Webster Area in the opening round in two games before they went on to score a two set victory over Milbank. Winner squared off against Dakota Valley in the championship game and won in two sets, 25-21 and 25-22. Way to go girls!
